Winter plant pull #2 is underway next week Friday. This means no more Beefsteak tomatoes until mid-May and the end of the hot peppers until early summer.
At Lufa we don’t throw away good food. Any extra produce that cannot stay on the plants goes in your baskets and any large amount of secondary blemished produce is donated to local charities and non-profits. During plant pulls everything must be harvested off the plants- ripe or not. Next Friday when the Beefs and hot peppers come out we will have crates and crates of green tomatoes and hot peppers (both coloured and green).
Anyone who would like extra hot peppers or green tomatoes, please e-mail: info@lufa.com your: Read on...
