Welcome Apartment Therapy fans!
For those of you who don't know about the Apartment Therapy blog you should. It is likely the top blog for apartment dwellers, renters and urbanites of all types.
AT is chock-a-block full of urban living ideas, with some great urban gardenng ideas and some not so great, but that's life with its need to be questioning, discerning and selective.
As long time readers know, I've posted my share of clunkers along with the good ones.
In any case, AT posted about "Gardening Without a Garden: 10 Ideas for Your Patio or Balcony - Renters Solutions" Read the comments too for an interesting perspective, including some misinformed naysayers.
Number 8 on the 10 ideas list shows the photo above and links to this prior post on Inside Urban Green.
Apartment Therapy
"8. If you're looking to grow larger plants, these self-irrigating planters made from plastic tubs are a great idea."
I will share with you that a bunch of people justifiably liked number 8 and likely Tweeted or posted on Facebook and elsewhere in social media. IUG blog stats over the past several days attest to that.
IUG readership has soared to a new level. We'll soon find out if it is sustainable. There is work to be done to earn the attention and trust of many new readers along with retaining the trust of those who have been loyal fans for these many years.
Thank you all! Keep on coming back! There’s lots of good stuff ahead. Fresh food for all!
