There are other words that you can substitute for Triscuits in the headline above. On my way home from Manhattan yesterday, I stopped by the Triscuit/Kraft Foods "Home Farming Day" PR event at Madison Square Park.
What I heard and saw hurt my ears and eyes, it was that bad. It was raining lightly but I was praying for a flood. I am a veteran of Coney Island sideshow barkers since childhood. In my view, that's where this event belonged.
Have a look at a photo of the Flat Iron Building (right by the park) from 1905 after the jump.
Madison Square Park is to the left (see the trees). In warmer weather, there is seating on the triangular plaza at the intersection of Broadway and 5th Avenues with a great view of The Flatiron Building.
It is one of my favorite places in Manhattan to relax and most likely meet some tourists (with cameras). It is one of the most (if not the most) photographed building in NYC. Isn't this a great shot in the winter of 1905.
