I knew how these flowers were supposed to be growing but I didn't believe it until seeing the following photos that revealed the secret. Simply fabulous!
My guess is that most people think of sub-irrigated planters (SIPs) like the EarthBox as tomato or vegetable growers and don't see their potential as flower boxes. See this previous post also.
