The name of the restaurant is COTOTOI and the designer for the project was dilight, inc. of Tokyo. What a nice job they did!
Having been an interior plantscaper and dealt with low-light restaurant interiors like this I have questions. Although the ambient light is subdued, those are bright artificial lights.
I wonder what the light meter readings are and whether they are LEDs. Using low light tolerant plants and LED lighting on timers could produce healthy plants on a sustainable basis.
This is a relatively simple way to create living plant walls in homes, even dark apartments. You don’t need any special green wall fixtures. Just use shelving, sub-irrigated planters and LED lighting.
