What a cool plant light this solar LED lamp might make. It's only $20 at IKEA. I'll check it out with my light meter and see what houseplants it may support.
I hope we're looking at the future for indoor plant lighting. It appears to be a green light in every sense of the word.

Did you ever get a change to test this lamp with your light meter?
I can see on IKEA's site that it gets 4 hours of light on a charge, so it won't run all night, but it could extend the light in a windowsill for a few hours, at least.
